Gold Coast Summer: Dec – Feb
Average temperature 20-28°C (68-82°F). January to March are usually the months of highest rainfall - usually fantastic hot days followed by occasional tropical storms. Humidity can sometimes be high but is often tempered by the cool sea breezes.  Enjoy beaches and water activities for a cool off, but remember to protect yourself and your family from the sun. 

Gold Coast Autumn: Mar - May
Average temperature 15-25°C (59-77°F). Usually sunny days followed by mild nights.

Gold Coast Winter: June – Aug
Average temperature 11-21°C (52-70°F). Generally sunny and dry - Winter hinterland areas can be much cooler.

Gold Coast Spring: Sept – Nov
Average temperature 15-25°C (59-77°F). Sunny days followed by balmy evenings, just perfect


Gold Coast's climate is sub-tropical with approx 287 - 300 days of sunshine annually.
